2008 CONCERT SEASON

From the Opening Celebration on July 3 through the Finale Weekend in September, the 2008 summer concert season at the Levitt Pavilion will feature an array of music from around the globe and celebrated music of the Americas. This summer Grammy artists, internationally recognized musicians, critically acclaimed performers, and emerging talent will perform over 40 different genres of music representing 5 continents. Designed to appeal to people of all backgrounds and tastes the summer concerts celebrate diversity and offer moments of discovery, creating lasting memories for all ages!

The summer concert season at the Levitt Pavilion is produced by The Friends of the Levitt Pavilion – MacArthur Park, a non-profit organization committed to bringing culturally diverse entertainment for all ages, FREE OF CHARGE to the community.   The Friends believes in the power of the arts to build strong communities, open lines of communication across cultures, inspire youth and enrich lives. The generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations are all needed in order to produce the summer concerts featuring artists of the highest caliber.  Your support allows us to continue presenting exceptional performances and expand our outreach efforts, providing access to the performing arts to people of all ages, regardless of economic means.   Contributions of any amount are welcome!
